We have been so blessed to have been so warmly welcomed into our new church family at Meadowbrook Community Church, just down the street from our house here in Champaign. I have met some wonderful friends, many of whom were at my table during the bible study I joined in September and all of whom are part of a small group that we will start going to more now as a family now that marching band season is officially over!
Here are some pictures from a shower they threw me today in honor of Cora's upcoming arrival! Though I miss my CA friends so much...especially during this time right before she arrives...God is so good in providing a community of believers who love Him and have embraced us as we've come to IL. They've been especially supportive through all we've been through so far with Cole and these girls, their familes as well as our pastor and his wife have really drawn us in as we've prayed through this big transition for our family. Thank you Jesus for your provision for us!
