I just got home from taking Ryder and Cole to a class called "Helping Hands" held at our hospital. This class is for future big brothers and sisters to learn how to help take care of their baby brother or sister when they arrive! I was a little hesitant to go by myself with the boys since Cole is not at the most patient age for sitting through a class, but armed with my double stroller, lots of snacks (Cole's favorite) and an urge to get out of the house while Daddy was in class, we were on our way!
Cole did a GREAT job munching away at his snacks while Ryder learned to put a diaper on his baby doll, wrap her up in a blanket and hold her carefully...he LOVED it since he loves taking care of things and has already told me many times that he's going to hold "sissy" while I hold Cole since Cole is too big for him now :) After this, we went on a tour of the maternity floor of the hospital and got to see one little baby getting a bath in the nursery. Ryder said, "She's so little!" as he held up his fingers to show me how small she was. I told him that's how small his sister is going to start out! We then went back down to our classroom while they watched a funny movie about being an older sibling. Ryder held his "baby" the whole time. Here are the pictures from our fun time tonight with my boys wearing their matching "big brother" shirts :)

One month to go and we'll have TWO big brothers in our house! Yippeee!

AHHHH! That is TOOO cute!!!!
I LOVE it! I love that Ryder got to do the class! I love the pics of Cole too and will be praying tomorrow!
