Since Cora has been born, we've been talking about who she looks like! Everyday she changes, but from the start we've thought she resembles her oldest brother...at least what he looked like at her age :) I thought it'd be fun to post the boys pictures at her age alongside hers to make the comparing more fun! We love our little ones...what a blessing they are and although they may resemble each other or their parents on the outside, it is our ultimate desire that as they grow they resemble their heavenly Father more and more each day in their character and in the way they love others. What sweet little boys and girl God has blessed us with! I've started watching Jon and Kate plus 8 on the TLC channel every once in a while to give me perspective when I feel life is crazy with 3! If you're not familiar with the show, this couple has twin girls who are around 6 yrs old and then 6 three year olds making a total of 8 kids in their house! I laugh most of the time at the funny things that happen when that many kids of similar age are all under one roof. It helps me smile more at the funny little happenings that happen here each day with only 3 :) Every once in a while something wonderful happens, like yesterday when Cole decided to use the toilet for the first time! We were all so excited that at only 19 months, he decided he could use the toilet...yeah Cole! We'll see if it lasts, but I'll count that as a victory for the day! Here's to life with 3, 8 or how ever many God has called you to love! I think I'll start thinking of us as John and D plus 3!...and we love them more than we can describe and are learning that it's good to laugh at your self sometimes!
