We woke up Saturday morning to a beautiful sunny day!!! You have to understand that our excitement was doubled if not tripled since we had had a cold and rainy week and couldn't wait to see God do a miracle and open the clouds for our Easter Carnival day at our church! The boys were almost as excited as I was ( I LOVE finding fun things to do with the boys out of the house!) even though Daddy had to join us later since Marching Illini auditions were happening at U of I that same morning.
Daddy and the boys playing games at the carnival...

Ryder and Kenna climbing the wall to the top! Kenna got a little nervous right about here...
Ryder went all the way up, over the top and down the slide on the other side!
After a fun program inside where the kids danced and sang to Jesus with a giant dog and chipmunk (I know...it sounds funny!), it was time for...THE HUNT! During the program Ryder and Kenna were dancing...Cole danced a bit too and took turns going between mine and Amy's lap when it was time to sit. It was so neat to see how much he's bonded with her through all our hours of therapy together! :)
Here we are taking inventory of what the kids found, putting the candy in our baskets and giving the eggs back to our church so we can fill the eggs again for next year's hunt!
Here's Cole showing Miss Amy what he found...
Cora spent the day with Daddy as he carried her in our Baby Bjorn...this hat kept her from getting too much sun but the rest of us weren't so lucky! We came home with rosy cheeks from the day in the sun! I guess we've forgotten what to do in the sun already...time to break out the sunblock again :)
Overall we had a GREAT day with our family, and new friends :) Praise God for amazing weather and a reason to celebrate new life!

Happy Easter Everyone!

I got behind on reading your blog, so I'm catching up. ;) We hang out with our speech therapist and her family too! Sometimes it feels a little weird for us to blur the boundary, but we're thankful for a wonderful woman who helps Malachi with his speech and her great family we have fun with. Yay!
