Our little Cora-bean is now over 5 months old and so full of life! That nickname is one my aunt gave her when we were in CA and it's stuck around here! Our sweet girl has grown so much this past month I just had to post all the new things we're loving about her these days...

Tummy Time...
She's a rolly-polly now! As soon as we put her on the floor, she rolls immediately to her tummy and plays there as long as you'll let her! The boys love getting on the floor next to her, showing her new toys, giving her kisses and I usually pick her up right about the time the hugs start to turn in an accidental "steamroller" game! She absolutely loves her brothers though, and her face lights up in a huge smile, she giggles and starts kicking furiously every time they start coming her way! I think she knows fun is about to be had!

Playground Fun...
Instead of staying in her stroller while I chase the boys around the playground, Cora loves getting out, stretching those adorable legs and being pushed in the swing now! Cole especially loves to push Cora, though I'm still trying to teach him how to push her without getting hit by the swing as it comes back toward him!
Who wouldn't want to get close to this adorable girl!!!

First Food and Tooth...
Here's Cora having her first bites of Rice Cereal. I think she's been ready for this for a while, though I was trying to hold her off as long as I could to make sure her system was ready for "real food." Ryder helped me get it all ready while Coley just wanted to climb in the chair with her and eat it for her! He's a "foodie" like his Mommy and Gramma!
She did great for her first time and loved it! Her little tounge is sticking out here as it usually is when she's finished eating :) Tonight I felt her first bottom tooth poke through...yeah!!! All that teething has been put to good use! She'll be taking bites out of an apple in no time! ;)
I was so excited to find this great organic brown rice cereal with DHA and probiotic in it from HappyBellies! She seems to like it so far and I love giving it to her knowing the probiotic will be good for her digestive tract as her body adjusts to solids :)

One more cute picture of that sweet smile and those chubby legs!!!

Oh, and have you noticed...It's bow time!!!! She has officially grown "bangs" since we returned from CA so all the fun bows my friend Kim sent me before she was born are being put to good use every moment she's awake! (Well...almost:) When my friend Jenny came to visit in December, we glued a piece of foam to the inside of each one so they would stay in that soft, fine baby hair, and so far...it's worked! Thank you Kim and Jenny! I think about you guys every morning after I comb the boys hair and then get to "do" my girl's hair...so fun!!!

Well...that's about it for now...rolling, food, teeth and bows...just a few things our 5 month old sissy is up to these days :) We love her more and more each day as her sweet, smiling face draws us all closer as a family...no really...we all meet in the middle at those sweet kissable cheeks! Praise God for our Cora Grace, and for her Mommy, Daddy and brothers who love her so :)
