One of Cole's recent speech goals, is that he tells us "No."

I know this sounds backwards to parents of little ones, since "No" often times becomes the word 2 year olds cling to a bit too much!!! Well, when you have a 2 year old who is learning to speak for the first time after living in silence for 18 months...you celebrate everything. Even the dreaded..."No." :) He's still working on the "n" sound but has the "o" down strong!

Not only has Cole begun saying "No," but he's understanding when to use it so well lately (Ha, Ha!) I couldn't resist adding these videos. Here he is using his new word in effort to resist two of a toddler's worst enemies...nap time and chicken! Enjoy!

No Chicken!

No Sleepytime!

Way to go little man! We've got "no" going over here in two different langages! Help! :-)

    I love it!

  3. I hear ya! Like you said, it sounds backwards, but when Malachi (with his apraxia) learned to say "no" and "mine," we rejoiced! Every word is a triumph. Yay, Cole!
