We've had a little girl to hug and kiss,A sensitive and "girly" cry when something was amiss.
We've woken up to little coos and kicking from her crib,
We've seen our little Cora-bean so strongly lift her head.
For 6 whole months..
We've squeezed 3 kids into the backseat of my car,
Thankful where we're going now is never very far!
Our Cole has heard the cries and giggles too,
Of a baby sister that sure loves him, this is true.
For every time he runs at her with love-filled dancing eyes,
She throws her arms up, smiles and squeals, as if to say, "Oh, my!"
For 6 whole months...
I've watched my oldest rise above the rest,
Proving he was born to learn and grow through any test.
He loves to spend time playing with and talking to his sis,
Likes to show her "how it's done" and then give her a kiss :)
Our Cora Grace has won our hearts in 6 short months, it's true,
All 18 pounds, 6 ounces and 26 inches too!
She's rolling all over the floor, can't leave her from our sight!
If she's sees something that she wants, you can bet she'll get it, alright!
She eats banana, avocado, sweet potato too,
Sleeps with her pink bunny from "you know (Ryder) who"
There's so much more that I could say but I'll leave with this last thought...
We love you Cora, and are glad God added you to our lot!
