I was so excited to receive comments lately, one from an Advanced Bionics intern working there for the summer! Wow! What an incredible place to work!!! I'd love to be so close to the process that gives so many profoundly deaf people the chance to hear...incredible!
She passed on the link to this video of a news cast CBS2/KCAL aired yesterday! It follows Tyler's family to their visit to Advanced Bionics Headquarters...the same place we were in May! Amazing! Watching this precious family meet those who made their son's implants took me back to that very same moment for us again. What an experience! It made my heart swell with appreciation again for the diligent work the employees who work on the implants devote themselves to. It must be so motivating for them to meet those whose lives they're changing by going to work each day! It was so neat watching them meet Tyler and his family and see some of the same people we met when we were there in May :) Click the following link to watch video...
Watching this video makes me excited to return one day to update everyone we met at AB on Cole's progress! Last time we visited, he had only been hearing for 5 months and was still very quiet :) Next time we visit, Cole will be able to say "Hi!" to everyone at AB...the place where his hearing was "born." Maybe someday, he'll even go back to give a presentation of his own, thanking them with his own voice while John, Ryder, Cora and I sit in the audience, cheering him on step of the way! That'll be a day I can't wait to blog about...if I'm still blogging then! What a thought...my boy giving a speech...I can't wait! AMEN!!!!

Thanks for sharing! We toured the AB factory in July and loved it. Marielle is getting implanted this fall.
