Cole had such a WONDERFUL year in his play group at school!!! We call it a play group because parents participated and were present for every minute of it! He had 2 hours of individual therapy with Miss Angie and 4 hours of group therapy a week with Miss Shawnda and the rest of his friends a week....that's a lot of therapy! Miss Amy also continued to come to our house one hour a week to do home therapy with Cole. Every child under the age of 3 with a disability in the state of IL (and most states) has the privilege of being provided these services and we are so thankful that our boy was able to be involved in therapy with so many caring and devoted professionals at the expense of the state and Carle Foundation. What an immense blessing! When I think back upon this past year and a half, I am overwhelmed to the point of tears again at the way the Lord has cared for our family. Not only did he call us here, but He provided a way during this season of VERY limited finances, for Cole to get the BEST care available. He is SO good to us.

Here are a few pictures of memories from the year with Cole and the friends and families we've grown to know and love...
Field Trip to "Touch-A-Truck" Day
They got to climb inside and explore all kinds of trucks that day!!!

These pictures were from graduation day when the older kids in Preschool-2nd Grade sang songs and gave speeches about their year! We went since John had worked with the older kids all year teaching them music twice a week, and I gave a short PTO Update from the year since I was president all year...(don't think I've mentioned that before!) here are pictures of Cole with the amazing therapists we love!!!

It's very fitting we were all there for graduation since Ryder and Cora also have attended CAOS frequently with Cole and I or John this year! The staff has always been so welcoming and accommodating to our whole family, making it possible that Cole attends as much therapy as possible, even if it meant me bring a few more to join the mix!
Cole continues with therapy once a week through July; he will attend a summer camp where students from a local university will come to work with his age group for a week as well, and then before we know it, he will start attending pre-school in the same building on August 5th!!! Can you believe our boy is growing up so fast! His birthday is TOMORROW! Glad I squeezed this post in before! MOre updates to come, but thank you, Lord, for your provision and plan for our boy. We love you!
