For 2 years, our family has had a sister and daughter in our lively little brood...
Last week, we celebrated her sweet life and I'm not sure who had more fun...Cora or ME!
What fun it is to be my little spunky, independent, joyful girl's mommy!

Little crib for her dolls from Gramma and Gramps, computer from Mommy and Daddy and the boys picked out new hair clips, sparkly headbands, and big girl "princess" underwear for our potty-training girl :)
According to the doctor, she's slowed down on the growth charts and is now in the 22%ile for her height and average for her weight right now. We've noticed her slimming down lately and starting to loose those chubby baby legs we all love! No matter what her size...for the rest of her life, we just pray she will be one who strives to know and journey with the One who loves her most, whatever he may call her to do, wherever He may call her to go...
There is adventure for those who trust in the Lord beyond the wisdom of this world...Life with God is not something we can wrap with a bow and give to our sweet girl in a pink box for her birthday. But we hope and pray, more than anything else in her life, that she will one day accept the gift God wrapped for each of us in the body of His Son, Jesus...the gift of life with HIM forever...
Oh, to have you know, sweet girl, the JOY of life walked with Jesus.
Lord, draw her to yourself through the love and power of your spirit working in us. May she see YOU in us as we live out the life you've given us. We love your girl...thank you for making her ours for now...nothing would make us more thankful than to someday hear, she's chosen YOU for herself. Stir in her heart even now, and make us messengers of your love...for her sake, now and FOREVER!!!

Amen, amen!!! We celebrate Caleb's 2nd birthday tomorrow, such a fun stage of life! I love their personalities, sentences, thoughts, words... it's all oh so precious! Cora Grace your light is shinning already, even through your pictures I see the joy of the Lord.
