She just keeps growing up!
One thing I've figured out by now, is that they do that...
As soon as you feel like a stage will never end, it does and a new one begins :)
As I write, our girl is just over 6 months and left the stage of sitting and observing life from the side lines :)
Now, she wants to be right there in the middle of the whole, crazy mess!
According to the rest of us, there isn't another little body, we'd want in the mix more.
Can you tell she is LOVED!
At her 6 month appointment, she is just about average in all areas at 26 inches long and weighing 15 pounds 10 ounces. She's a happy little monkey :)
Here are her first bites of rice cereal just before her 6-month b-day :)
She was very eager to begin eating solids! She loved to sit on my lap at dinner time and reach for my spoon :) Now she gets her own!
We're so thankful for our sweet Rylee...she loves to cuddle, and while she's not quite sitting on her own or moving around yet, she definitely has the fan club around her providing for her every need! Her pediatrician (who has 6 kids of her own) was saying that she really has no need to move! Her brothers and sisters love to do everything for her!
It's true...though I know it's fun to wait on her now, the days are coming when her little legs will be carrying her around too as she tears down the hall with the rest of them...until then, we'll enjoy our baby as long as she stays one! We love you Rylee Joy!!!

First off, Danice, I'm looking at the time of this posting! You need your sleep, Mommy of 4!! I know. I know. 12:30 a.m. is the only quiet, uninterrupted time, with wee ones...
Rylee Joy your deep, dark eyes snatch everything around you. Nothing is not noticed by you! We adore you!! Grammie
