My dear little Rylee Girl...
It's been 11 months since you joined our little circus, and the smug little look you gave me for the above picture encompasses one facet of your developing personality...you truly are content.
I guess it's no wonder :)
You have a Daddy who loves you...(who you look just like!)
You have a Mommy who never wants put you down...
(okay...maybe every once in a while, but I do love those cheeks!)
Not to mention your brothers and sister whose favorite thing to ask me now is,
"Mommy, where can I carry Rylee now?"
Even though you've yet to celebrate a birthday on this earth, there is a depth to your spirit and maturity to your countenance that runs deep and goes well beyond your "almost-year" :)
Not only are you...
climbing stairs,
pulling yourself to standing,
eating everything we eat (almost!)
saying, "Ma Ma!" whenever you see me :)
and letting out a shrill scream if someone isn't meeting a need you have at the moment!
I think what I love the most right now is when you...
clap your hands along to our favorite songs in the car
copy your sister when she does the "moves" to each song, dancing the whole time :)
give everyone a "kiss" goodnight on their cheek as they wrap their arms around your little body and snuggle in close for their turn with their Rylee
wave "bye bye" and say "ba!" to everyone before I put you to bed
I love the spunk it's clear that God has given you my dear one :)
You are the strongest, most resilient, joyful little bean I've ever had the joy of raising! The way you giggle and belly laugh through hugs, kisses, and tickles from your brothers and sister amazes me daily. At least once a day I hear Cole say,
"She's MY Rylee"
and Cora respond,
"No, she all our Rylee!
You are LOVED!
God has great plans for you my spunky little punky :)
You couldn't have bigger "fans" in your family, but far greater than all of us combined, is the love that your
Heavenly Father, Maker, Creator, Savior, and Redeemer has for you.
Thankfully, He's also the One with the best plan.
We couldn't be more thankful to have front row seats to it all!
