A few weeks ago Grammie and Papa came for a visit!
What a blessing to have them within driving distance again!!!

Here are some memories in photos from our tour of John's new school...
this time as a professor instead of a student :)

One of our favorite spots...

W K Kellogg donated this land to Cal Poly Pomona and loved Arabian horses...
There is still an Arabian Horse breeding facility on campus, where they have regular shows each month.  Hoping to take the kids to one soon!

...California Lab Administration building...
It's a landmark on campus but actually been recently deemed structurally unsound and due to be torn down soon!

Having fun at the ponds :)

Watching the fish below...

Climbing trees in front of the Japanese rose garden...

Soccer time :)

She just wants to play...

Just love my family :)

Such a great day and wonderful 10 days with Grammie and Papa!
We are so thankful for priceless moments...
Date night for John and I,
ALONE time for me(!),
Grammie coming to Bible study with me
Grammie helping in Ryder's classroom,
Me getting to help in both boys classes,
Papa bringing down handmade bunk beds for the girls,
and precious nightly talks once the kids were asleep.

Everytime we get to spend time together, I'm amazing and blessed all over again, that God has given me such caring, selfless, God-fearing parents in-law :)

Thank you for making the trip down...we can't wait to see you at Christmas!!!

One Response so far.

  1. Jeff and I are both Cal Poly alums! It's a great school. We are so excited for John to be there. My kids loved seeing the horses and ducks and turtles on campus whenever they "brought me to school."

Oh, you are so, so fortunate to have 2 sets of parents to love and care for you! You and your children are so blessed!
