Halloween this year started with a bang...
We went to Cal Poly's Pumpkin Festival a couple weeks before Halloween.

It was BUSY!
Such a great welcome back into SoCal culture.
A LOT of people
A LOT of pumpkins
and A LOT of sun :)

Yep!  Sounds like Fall in SoCal to me!

We pretended we were back in IL for a moment :)

This hay bail was screaming for a picture with 4 cute kids on it :)

Looking for the perfect pumpkin :)

I didn't even stage it!

He was in the hunt for the biggest pumpkin!

My little crew... I just love them!!!

Rylee wasn't as excited to sit on them :)

The boys deciding if they found the biggest one or not...

Sleepy girl :)

Getting in line to pay for our pumpkins :)

We all sort of felt this way right about this time :)

But then we found the tractors!

Halloween Night...

My little lady bug :)

Trick or Treating with friends...

Daddy joined us straight from work :)

Counting their loot while we talk to Auntie Erin on Skype :)

I love the way Cole put his in categories :)  He loves to have everything in its place!

Talking to Auntie Erin :)

My sweet little family :)
A Transformer, Cowboy, and two ladybugs

Could they be any cuter???

...My little ladies...
(Neither one wanted to wear her antennas!)

Ryder chose the "ghost" pattern for our carving pumpkin this year, while Cole and Cora painted theirs :)  I asked him if he wouldn't make them "spooky ghosts", so he decided to make them "holy ghosts."  It's hard to tell, but he told me he painted blue above them for the sky, them the top of the pumpkin is yellow since heaven must be filled with light :)  I love my boy :)
Hope everyone had a great Halloween!!!
I'm just thankful for another night where we got to be together and have fun as a family :)  As they grow, those moments are growing fewer and farther between!  Trying to soak up every moment we have as a precious one, given to us by a God who has all our days numbered.
I praise God for my family!!!
