Rylee Joy...our youngest little bean, seems to be in a mad dash to grow and catch up to her brothers and sisters! It's amazing to us how our littlest one is, all of the sudden, not so little anymore! Yes, I know I've watched three others grow up right before her, but regardless of how many children I've watched grow...I'm never short of amazed each time God breathes fresh life into one of His little ones!
They are each so unique, yet so beautiful.
You can see it in their eyes...they look different, but if you really gaze into each one of them, you'll find the same sparkle. At first glance you'd see dark blue, brown, light blue, and hazel, but once you get to know the child behind the eyes, you'd see them dance to the same rhythm, fueled by the same JOY.
This is the JOY that wants to have dance parties before bedtime, build forts under beds, and take cookies to neighbors...
Its a contagious JOY. One that can't help but be caught and passed on from one cookie baking dance lover to the next, and around here...Rylee is NEXT! She's made it very clear, that she's come to this family to be much more than a by-stander. :) She's come to contribute her own JOY to the messy mix of ours...and we couldn't be happier!!!
This past month, our girl is...
- Babbling more, saying "Dad, please, this, no, bye-bye, tickle" and lots of other things we're still figuring out!
- Taking a few steps at a time but still not convinced walking is the best mode of transportation :) Especially when her standing up means she's swarmed by three others who all want to show how proud they are of her with group hugs!
- SPUNKY! I've started calling her our "Spunky Punky" She's got a voice and knows how to use it :)
- Eating everything and more than anyone else in our family! What can I say...she comes from a long line of foodies :)
- Dances to music
- Pulls ornaments off the Christmas Tree
- Screams when you take away something she wants
- Lays in her crib taking to her babies, giving them hugs and kisses
- Blows kisses when you ask her to say "Thank-you..."
- And SO much more!!!

We just love her.
And we're pretty sure she loves us too. :)
