We visited the "Happiest Place on Earth" a few weeks ago...
All because my brilliant husband brought his band to play...
Cora both wanted to meet Minnie, and was terrified to meet Minnie, all at the same time...
But the girls loved Minnie's dishwasher...
Tom Sawyer's island was a hit too...

She had to wear her snow white clip, and the size 6/7 shirt I bought from Target the day before :)
We surprised the kids with their shirts the night before...that's how they found out where they were going the next day!
The girls were so patient waiting with Miss Jenny and Cooper while John and I took the boys on Big Thunder Mountain...it was exciting for ALL of us when we found out they were tall enough to go on every ride!
All these happy faces, so thankful for the gift of such a wonderful day!

In this season of dissertation writing for John, moment like this are few and far between but like WATER to our thirsty, family's soul.
SO grateful.
This weekend, John and I get to go back with his second band, but this time the kids are staying with Gramma and Gramps :) Date day at Disneyland for the Mr. and Mrs.! Thank you Matt and Jenny for the last trip and a thanks to Gramma and Gramps for the trip to come! We couldn't be more thankful for time spent together...such a treat in this season especially.
We don't take one moment for granted!
