Look whose growing up!

This little face has been in our family for 18 months now, and I thought it was about time to tell HER how she's left her precious mark on us all...

Our dearest Rylee Joy,

For a year and a half,

you've brought a smile to all of our faces countless times a day,

you've won the hearts of us all, especially your brother Cole,

you've been the antidote to many a squabble between your brothers and sister,

You love to be in on all the action now...you even bought water at your brother's water stand the other day :)

You LOVE to read books and this one is your current favorite...

I Love You Through and Through
I pray you learn to know and love the greatest love story ever written someday...God's Word to you and to me.

Yesterday, your sister even walked up to you and said, "Rylee, you're my best friend."

I pray you know the closest friendship someday, with the One who died in your place.

You are so independent now, always wanting to walk on your own,
but will still let me slip my hand into yours.

I pray you learn to never lose hold the hand of the One who made you.

You are starting to share your thoughts now more and more.

You even love to copy what you hear others say.

Even today, you heard Cole say "Tricked you!"

Later when he was looking for you and said,

"Oh, there you are...I was looking for you!"

In your sweet little voice you replied, "Tricked you!" walking off with him hand in hand.

I pray you learn to hear and speak the words of God most of all.

Just your presence in the room calms anxious hearts...

I pray you know the calming presence of Jesus someday, sweet one.

It seems there are facets of His character that He's already instilled in you.

Now, I pray you learn to know HIM.

We love you, dear one.

May that feisty, independent, confident spirit you've been given bring Jesus all kinds of glory someday!!! You are precious in HIS sight!

We're so thankful that you're ours, and blessed beyond words that He calls you HIS.
