I was honored to share a little slice of our journey with the Beautifully Rooted community today. It couldn't of been posted on a better day, with the Olympics in full swing our family has been enjoying our nightly recaps of the events of the day in London. Alongside the competing athletes sit watching champions of past years. I'm sure they're rejoicing in their victories and mourning the loss of dreams unfulfilled with every misstep on a gymnastic floor routine or .001 second difference in a swimming race meaning the difference between silver and gold. They know, better than any other spectator what it must feel like...both the joys and disappointments.
My most recent post was an honor to write...it's about an Olympic Champion and how his journey...ALL of it...continues to inspire my little champions at home.
Bryan Clay may not be be on the USA Track and Field team in London this year, but God is using his journey to lead the hearts of my children in a race with a reward far beyond the value of gold...for his example of honor and integrity, this mother will be forever thankful.
