She arrived a week after her due date predicted she would and she's kept us on our toes ever since!

On Sunday she turned four, and in the years she's been ours she's not only graced our house with a little pink, but taught me a thing or two along the way about JOY, drama, patience and unconditional love.

Dear Cora Grace,

Everyday you wake up and teach me more about what it means to be a called "Mommy" to a little girl...to one who is happiest wearing pink, frills, bracelets and curly pig tails everyday she possibly can!  You take each moment and live it to the fullest, whether you are alone...
at school with your friends...

singing in a concert...
 playing with your friends...
taking a bath with your sister...

or just being the funniest little blondie we know...

On your 4th birthday, I want you to know that my very favorite thing in the whole world is when I get to see you being exactly the girl God made YOU to be.

Part of being YOU includes...

Making up your own songs to narrate the soundtrack of your life...(even if they are sung throughout entire soccer games!)...

Being just as happy in the spotlight on the dance floor as you are cheering your brothers on from the sidelines...

Leaping up with the answer when the teacher asks a question in Sunday School with JOY...

Taking on the sweetest "motherly" role with your sister...your babies...really anyone smaller than you :)

Delighting in the victories of others...

Being kind when you share and play with your brothers (says Cole)

Being very cute and having a good heart and pretending a lot (says Ryder)

Praying with a genuine belief that God is listening and wants to hear us thank Him!

We love you Cora Grace.  You have a LOVE for life that is contagious!  I believe God has good plans for you and will use the way he created you a creative little ball of JOY for His glory.

Happy 4th Birthday, sweet pink little princess!!! :)
