Our Inspired Journey

It all started years ago when I wanted to give my mom and mother-in-law necklaces to wear, inscribed with the names of their grandchildren.  As I looked into what I really liked, I just couldn't bring myself to spend the kind of money they were asking!  Being a one-income family, we are always looking for ways to save money, so after some coaching from my friend Jenn (whose jewelry you MUST check out too!)  I began ordering the supplies necessary to make my own necklaces to give as Christmas presents this past year!

In order to help pay for the start-up costs, I ended up making over 40 necklaces this past Christmas for friends to give to their loved ones. Whew!  I learned a lot and gave all my first customers nice discounts as they bravely trusted me with making their gifts during the "learning stage."

And so, Inspired Hand Stamped Jewelry was born!  Many of my friends encouraged me to start an Etsy shop to give them different payment options, so (drumroll please.....) yesterday was the grand-opening of Inspired Hand-Stamped Jewelry on Etsy!

Yes...I know...I'm excited too!

And, what better way to have a shop opening than to have a GIVEAWAY right before Valentine's Day.  I know...it's perfect!   The winner will receive a necklace with a pewter charm of their choice.

After searching many different types of metals, I've found I love working with pewter!  Pewter is a softer, less expensive metal, so I'm able to make beautiful, meaningful jewelry without the high prices tag.  I also make Sterling Silver charms I for those "once-in-a-lifetime" gifts that many people love giving their wives, moms, daughters and grandmas!

I don't have any shown in my shop currently, but I can stamp Bible Verses, on the larger charms or for those of you with a "Word-of-the-year" that you feel God has given you for this theme in your life...I can stamp those too on any charm shown.  The possibilities are endless!  The truth is, if you have names, words or verses you want to share with the world...I can help you wear them!

There's just enough time for me to whip up an adorable Valentine's Day gift for you...(ladies, do your husbands a favor and tell them what you want!  I promise...they like it better this way!)
