Two weekends ago, the boys went up the mountain to spend a weekend with Gramma and Gramps and John and I were let with only two little girls in our our house! We've NEVER had only two girls under our roof, and as much as we missed our boys, we LOVED getting a chance to spend a whole 3 days with just our youngest two. What a precious gift for us all!!!
Normally when we go for a family bike ride, we stow the girls away in our trailer behind John's bike while we chase the boys down the trail. This time, we actually brought the girls' bikes and let them RIDE! They LOVED it!!!!
Off we go...two girls in tow!
Final destination...the park!
Our little rascal :)
Never too shy for another pose!
...Such a sweet pair...
Kisses from Daddy!
Later that afternoon, we went to Daddy's school for lunch at the Farm Store!
...and walked among the strawberries...
Such a beautiful campus!
For the past two years, we've been able to visit John at this beautiful campus as he taught with the incredible music faculty at Cal Poly Pomona University. Next year, he will be moving a few miles down the road to Mt. San Antonio College, joining another amazing group of music educators he is honored to be a part of as well. After lunch at the Farm Store, we packed up boxes in this office and brought them over the hill to his new one. God continues to lead, guide and direct our family, showing us where in this world He wants us to be agents of His grace, truth and love to those around us. One blessing is...He's made friends at Cal Poly that He'll have for life. Our territory grows next year...by His grace, for His glory!
Thank you, Jesus for two wonderful years at Cal Poly...we pray relationships were made that will last a lifetime!
