We're in a season with the girls of trying out different activities to see what they like! It's going well so far...except that they like EVERYTHING!
Here are a few VERY blurry glimpses into their first little gymnastics class together at our community center. It was perfectly placed in our schedule between Thursday morning Bible Study at church and the boys' soccer practices. Whew!
I decided blurry photos were better than no photos at all, and honestly...that's exactly how life feels with this four! As much as I try and keep it all together, sometimes it just feels a little blur! I'm thankful we'll have these posts to look back on someday to sort out the memories recorded here...
Cora practicing a forward roll...
Rylee's turn (though she was a little less "rolly" and a bit more "loosey-goosey") That's my girl!
Cora telling Rylee what comes next...
Last class!
Ribbons for all!
Cora seemed to REALLy like gymnastics while Rylee liked it most of the time. Being the youngest one in a 3-5 year old class, has its challenges and when she got overwhelmed, she'd run to me crying. It only happened a few times, but always made the next time we went a bit more challenging. She needs to know she can trust the person leading her, to not push her beyond what she's comfortable attempting in front of an audience. If that trust is broken, it takes a while to build back up again. She's such a sweet and sensitive girl. I can't wait to see how God will use those qualities for His glory as she grows and shows us all how to love people well! Such a fun class! They'd like to try it again soon!
