It's SUMMER 2013, right after we arrive home from Mexico with our church.  That's right!  Days after that, we packed up the car again, and journeyed north spending two glorious weeks with our family up in Northern California!

Here are some glimpses of the memories made...and if they are starting to look familiar year after year, you're right!  We are starting to find a beautiful rhythm of tradition with our four and our extended family.  We find ourselves looking forward to the same activities year after year together.  Someday, I look forward to reminiscing over all the photos with them, reliving the memories one by one.  Until then...we LIVE them!

Wiskeytown Lake
Ryder taking his sister on a spin around the island...
Grammie and Cora floating and chatting about life...
Uncle Michael has some "alone time"...

My brave girl rides with Aunt "Em-o-lee" on the tube!

Grammie and Ryder cheer them on!
And then our dare-devils take their turn!
Ryder couldn't watch!
Rylee, holding on tight!

But nothing could slow these two down!

Then we found this spot...
These two went in for a closer look.
My little adventurers!
Daddy and his girl...
A beautiful lazy day.
The perfect place for a nap!
Or a family swim!
Or a paddle around...
Time to head back to shore...

What a beautiful day on the lake!

Time for bed...but not without a story from Auntie Em!
and Uncle Michael...
This boy prefers to read alone :)
Another day, another lake!
Wading with the geese and Grammie...
A little boating too in Cole's birthday boat from Lake Arrowhead!
These boys are the best team :)
Now for a little exploring upstream...
Our little adventurous girl...

Loves her Grammie...

"Watch this Mom!"

"I'm laying in this ice cold snow run-off...no big deal!"
"Wait...this is REALLY cold!!!"
What a beautiful day to explore!

Love this crew :)
Starting with this one... :)

Family campout in the backyard! (Blurry, but still cute!)

The "noises of the night" sent these two into Mommy and Daddy's tent!

Good morning Daddy!
Hot Tub time!
Now for the races...because it's always a competition with my boys around :)
"Okay, let's talk strategy"
On your marks, get set...
GO!

There's always a bit of a dispute over who actually won, but a fun family race none-the-less!

We are always grateful for the memories made at Grammie and Papa's house.  When Ryder was born, I remember saying that I was overwhelmed with gratitude for the family God had given my son.  And now that three more have joined the pack, I'm still amazed at the gracious, selfless and inspiring way my childrens' aunts, uncles, and grandparents love them and US each time we're together.

Thank-you, AGAIN for a lovely time, Grammie and Papa.  We can't wait to continue the traditions next time we're together!
