What a year this one has been! We just celebrated our one-year anniversary for getting the keys to our house, and it really has been a whirlwind! Last Halloween, our lives were boxed up and we were getting ready to move a mile away into our new house. This was the one we were SO grateful God had given us…much more than we ever thought possible, but just like God…He made a way. Moving a mile doesn't sound far, but it seemed by far our hardest move! It may have been the timing in the school year for us all and the fact that we moved into quite a fixer, but for all the reasons mentioned and more, this year has felt like a fog that we're slowly coming out of.
What fun it was to visit our sweet girl one last time at the same preschool Cole and Cora graduated from as well. This is our 4th and last year at Claremont Baptist Nursery School, so the kids and I sat poised ready to cheer on our little "Anna" as she paraded with her friends and sang a few adorable songs!
This is when she saw her brothers waving...
She's on the move...
Singing, "I'm a Little Pumpkin…"
Last circle and then off to her party!
"Can you see me, Mom?"
Our favorite…Mrs. Duron
That night, we started our Trick or Treating in Adams Hall…the dorm I lived in when I was a freshman at APU! The 49er, Spy, Elsa and Anna go in to find some candy!
The students were SO sweet!
Such sweet friends from church...
My old wing…1st East!
Love these families!
Then, onto dinner at the Clay's…a 4 year tradition! Sarah really got crafty this year with the food :)
These were my contribution…all spritzed with essential oils!
Do you see the fingers?
Sweet potato pumpkins…SO tasty!
Yummy, cranberry punch with gummy eyeballs frozen in the ice! Creepy!
And the picture we always take…all the kiddos on the fireplace before Trick or Treating!
They've known each other since birth, and you can tell!
Off we go, in search of some candy!
So thankful for these friends to adventure with!
